REDEEN
Synthesizer, Brightest and Best
Keyboard player, composer, and songwriter. I play straight ahead jazz around the Maryland DC suburbs, often with Magic Ray Jazz and the Greg Meyer Quartet (see 'Around the Web' links). I listen to and write a wide spectrum of music. Over the years I have performed with Buck Hill "the wailin' mailman", Donald Tillery of the Soul Searchers, and Morris Dow, guitarist of the Ink Spots. I even opened for Tom Constanten, original keyboard player for the Grateful Dead.
ANGIE SCHINCKE
Vocals, From Heaven High Above
Angie came out the womb singing and has been grateful for a variety of vocal experiences throughout her life. Her favorite, however, is leading others in worship. Angie lives in Greensboro, NC with her husband of 21 years, her three children, and her dog. When she is not signing, she is probably reading with a good cup of coffee in hand, engaging in meaningful conversation with a friend, or being active outside in some way.
SIERRA
Bass, Star of Wonder
.
JOHN GILLESPIE
MARTA RICHARDSON
Bass, Brightest and Best and Sons of the Morning
Electric Violin, Star of Wonder
John Gillespie has been writing, recording, and performing original music since the late 80s. He is best known as half of the Chapel Hill acoustic duo, Nikki Meets the Hibachi, but he has played in many other bands such as Kickball, Two Fish Blue, and Collapsis. While most of his music begins on the acoustic guitar, many of his recordings employ electric instrumentation as well (and often a musical collaborator or two). For those unfamiliar with John's work, imagine early REM performed on acoustic instruments.
Marta Richardson is an electric violinist who enjoys playing spontaneously on her 5 string Jordan violin. Marta hopes her sound brings healing, encouragement, and peace to others. Richardson, a Greensboro NC resident, is a public school orchestra teacher and enjoys time with her husband and grown children. www.MartaRichardson.com
